Physiotherapist
I started my physiotherapy career at a busy private practice in the northern suburbs after graduating in 2018. I built up a strong foundation by treating a broad range of clients. I transitioned in to treating rock climbers across various gyms in 2021. During this time I developed a keen interest in treating athletes with complex physical demands such as in rock climbing, martial arts, crossfit and weight lifting. I pursued certification as a Functional Range Conditioning practitioner in 2022, further aiding my ability to deliver better therapy for athletic performance and injury management.
I like to use a combination of a hands-on therapy and exercise to get people better. Admittedly I can get carried away with being a bit too mean with my massage! I'm big on injury prevention and using my physiotherapy brain to help people train smarter not harder. Conventional rehabilitation usually ends when someone returns to their pre-injury level. I work with my clients to get them better than what they were before their injury.
I'm passionate about helping all people who are interested in getting back to doing what they want to do. I also enjoy the challenge of helping people where conventional medical care has be unsuccessful.
Outside of Kinima, I like to spend as much of my spare time rock climbing and training for rock climbing!
